Black Tie Bingo - Catherine Barr

EVERYONE was back in black last Friday as the new Westin Bayshore Hotel hosted the sixth annual Black Tie Bingo Gala - A Night in the Big Apple. The hotel's new Grand Ballroom was bursting with guests in penguin suits and evening gowns as everyone came out to support the Canadian Breat Cancer Foundation (BC and Yukon Chapter), the Canadian Cancer Society (Prostate Cancer), the Osteoporosis Soceity of BC and the Vancouver Sun Children's Fund. Lots of silent auction items, a live auction and, of course, five big bingo games helped add to the fun. Later, guests danced the night away to the sounds of The Continentals.
