Ducks Unlimited

THE mission of Ducks Unlimited is "to fulfill the annual life cycle needs of North American waterfowl by protecting, enhancing, restoring and managing important wetlands and associated uplands." To that end, hundreds of dedicated individuals commit their time and money to buying land simply for that purpose. It's a conservation project like no other. On October 13, at the North Shore Convention Centre, the duck lovers were at it again, raising money for their cause. Guests enjoyed an evening of dining, auction items and some quacking good fun.
