ABCD Bocce Celebration

DAVID McAdam was loved by many. Sadly, he is no longer with us but his spirit lives on thanks to his friends and family - a fabulous group of giving people that get together regularly to celebrate life in general. Thanks to them, the 1st Annual Bocce Celebration for David (ABCD) event was born. Held on Saturday Aug. 25 at the Bocce pits in North Vancouver, the event was a fund raising memorial to the man that inspired all those around him. There was the tournament, food, prizes and awards. All proceeds raised go to brain cancer research. Good job gang.

Trish Holme, seen here with her dad Derek Holme, misses her late husband very much. She was thrilled to see such a large turnout in memory of her David.
