The Birds of BC

IT'S a birdie bible of sorts, and it made its premier this past Sunday at the Vancouver Public Library. What is it you ask, well it is the fourth and final volume of "The Birds of British Columbia". Covering over 100 different bird species, this final volume completes a set of books that any ornithological-minded person would kill to possess. The author presentation and book signing was well-attended and there were quite a few North Shore faces in the crowd. Congratulations to the Vancouver Public Library, the WBT Wild Bird Trust of BC, UBC Press and the other sponsors and supporters.
