Diamond Ball

IT's one of the year's biggest and most glamorous events. The Canadian Cancer Society's fifth annual Diamond Ball, held Saturday April 28, attracted hundreds of guests in an effort to raise funds for cancer research, prevention, advocacy and patient support initiatives. This year's theme was "Sunset at the Taj Mahal" as the ballroom at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver was transformed into a magical, middle eastern mirage. Everyone dressed the part and there were some spectacular costumes. There was a silent and a live auction, a fabulous meal and then dancing to "David Wills & the Dynamics".
