Families for Children

THE Families for Children non-profit charity was founded back in 1971. It's main goal is to raise money to build facilities in poor countries for babies and children. For example, a baby home in Dhaka Bangladesh was established in 1990 and now abandoned babies and/or their mothers have a place to go to receive care and attention. Here in West Vancouver, a charity luncheon fashion show was held last Sunday at the stylish home of Mary Creedon. There were two sittings as the ladies gathered to see fashions from Marilyn's, eat lunch and raise money for this very worth while cause.
