SEYMOUR Golf and Country Club played host last Monday afternoon to the 3rd Annual Scotia McLeod/Family Services of the North Shore Golf Tournament. Raising money for a very good cause was what is was all about as golfers arrived to a fabulous sandwich buffet lunch which was followed by a a round of golf, a steak and salmon dinner, prizes and more. The tournament has raised more than $75,000 over the past three years. A golfing trip to Whistler and a beautiful print from Buschlen Mowatt Fine Art were all part of the grand prizes, but no one went home empty handed. Good job.

Executive director Doug Sabourin (left) gave thanks to association director Alex Besharat, from ScotiaMcLeod, for sponsoring the tournament. "We have a 50 year proven track record of success," said Sabourin.

Big Bob Atkinson and teammate Barney Magnusson were in the running for th prizes with a score of -6.
