FANS Nights

FOR close to seven years now the Fund for the Arts on the North Shore (FANS) has provided support for local artists and the arts. Recognizing excellence in the arts is the main goal behind the much anticipated annual FANS Night Gala. The evening is always something special as big name performers come out to entertain and celebrate the creative spirit. On Saturday, Oct. 20, North Van's Centennial Theatre was packed with admirers of jazz singer Dee Daniels and sculptor Lyle Sopel, this year's honourees. It was another stellar evening that all North Shore residents can be proud to call their own.
