Molson Canadian Big Birthday Bash

CANADA day turned out to be a bit too popular on July 1 at Grouse Mountain. The Molson Canadian Big Birthday Bash attracted over 10,000 people to the mountain to see seven live bands perform in the great outdoors. The all-day-and-night charity event invited party-goers to hike up the Skyline Trail with five non-perishable food items. This donation gained you entry and a wristband for a ride down on the skyride. Everyone was having a great time until about 3 p.m. when the place got too crowded. The mountain was closed, the beer gardens shut down, and there was long waits for the lift. Still, most people were in a patriotic mood and partied till the end.
