Harmony Arts Opening

CELEBRATING community and creativity is what it's all about this week as West Vancouver hosts their annual Harmony Arts Festival. It's ten days of displays, concerts, art shows, music, theatre, tours and activities that run from Aug. 3-12 at various venues. Check out John Lawson Park, the Silk Purse Gallery or the Ferry Building for major events. The whole week got off to a great start, never mind the rainy skies, last Friday at Ambleside Landing as Mayor Ron Wood welcomed everyone. There was food samples, music and more and the community came out in full support.
