Laudate Singers Gala

THE Laudate Singers are a 25 voice mixed choir located here on the North Shore. Harmonious in every way, this group has been in existence for seven years and has toured all over B.C. They have released 2 CDs and have appeared on CBC Radio. This past Tuesday night, at Capilano Golf and Country Club, the choir held an elegant gala fundraising event. Guests and friends attended the dinner and helped raise close to $10,000. The silent auction items were splendid, but the best part was a special after dinner performance by the choir itself.

He usually towers above the tenors. Bass vocalist Michael Hall (centre) had to crouch down to fit in the picture (see inset) with fellow choir members Mark DeSilva (left) and Matthew Stephanson.
