Lonsdale Carol Ships

IT just wouldn't be Christmas without the Carol Ships. Every year, the boats sail past our shores adorned with lots of lights and decorations. If you're lucky enough to be aboard the ships, then the night is a special one indeed. But even if you're a land lubber, you're not left out in the cold. Lonsdale Quay and the adjacent Waterfront park made sure everyone had a great night on Friday Dec. 7. North Van City workers and volunteers came out to set up tents, serve hot chocolate, play with the kids and even escort Santa on to the shore. Festive family fun.
