WV School Board Trustees

"RENEWING the Network" was the theme on March the 12th as the West Vancouver School Board held a reunion of sorts at the Capilano Golf and Country Club. Trustees, superintendents and secretary-treasurers from 1953 to the present were invited to attend for an evening of dinner, socializing and memories. Chairman Clive Bird bid everyone welcome at the microphone before George Suart and Mike Smith took over as MCs. Some quotable quotes from superintendent Doug Player had everyone smiling as the evening wrapped up.

He was West Vancouver's youngest mayor who also got his start at the school board level. And although he denies it, I say you'll see Mark Sager's name on a ballot again in the future.
