Cypress Snowshoe Day

IT was a winter wonderful atop Cypress Mountain last Sunday as Family Snowshoe Day attracted hundreds of participants. Near ideal conditions, and lots of new snow, made this one of the best family fun days around. All 200 of the free tour tickets were snapped up earlier in the week as folks headed to the hills to demo the latest in snowshoe gear. Free trail tickets, hot chocolate, prizes and more were also part of the deal. There were challenges for the more experienced snowshoer and gentler climbs for the beginner. Truly something for everyone and a really great day all round.
