Forest hills Little League Opening Day

April 26, 2003

By Catherine Barr

There are so many kids playing baseball in North Van's Forest Hills area that they may as well just call the neighbourhood Fenway. Last Saturday was opening day and the festivities continued all afternoon. The main ceremonies took place at noon, and even the weather cooperated, turning it into a real Field of Dreams kind of day.
