Vancouver Indy Weekend 2003

Date

By Catherine Barr

They call it the fastest weekend of the year and judging from the celebrations, it's a well-deserved title. The 2003 Molson Indy Vancouver raced into town last weekend attracting fast cars, beautiful people and race fans from all across the Lower Mainland. The Gotham's Gala brought out the well-heeled, as did the Commodore's Driver VIP Party, but the biggest blast of the weekend was held on the North Shore out at West Vancouver's Horseshoe Bay. Private cars and water taxis carted close to 800 guests to and from "Paradise Point" for an Indy party that reportedly lasted well over two-days.
