RUNNING a busy newsroom is hard work and we can vouch for that (just as soon as we finish our three martini lunch). No, seriously, whether it's newsprint, radio or television, keeping everything under control takes a lot of effort and now and then, "stuff" happens. However, when it happens on television, it makes for great footage and a great year end party. The Christmas Media Bloopers party took place earlier this month as all four stations got together to eat chinese food and laugh at each other's blips and slips.

Meanwhile, fashion and art were all the rage at the Plaza nightclub last week as Departure Designs, Daryl menswear and Banana International held "Yuutopia", a night of fashion shows, and performances by local dance group Fresh Groove and comedy troupe Hot Sauce Posse. Proceeds raised went to support the CKNW Orphans fund. (see photos here)
