Gemini Awards Reception

Oct 15, 2003

By Catherine Barr

The 18th Annual Gemini Awards were handed out this past weekend in Toronto and there were lots of wild western faces in the crowd. But before boarding the plane out east, our local guys and gals were recognized at a special celebration put on by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. The Western Nominee Reception was held on Oct 15 at the Fairmont Waterfront hotel where, as they say, getting nominated already makes you a winner.
