Vancouver Comedy Festival
and Quay Restaurant Marinaside 1st Anniversary

Oct 14, 2004

By Catherine Barr

The Vancouver International Comedy Festival is in full swing and the events are everywhere. A kick-off party at the Roxy last week helped get things underway with a sneak peek at all the best to come. Check out the info at comedyfest.com until Oct. 25.

Also last week, Yaletown's Quay Restaurant at Marinaside held a cheeky pajama party to celebrate their first anniversary. Complete with beds and bubbly, there was nothing sleepy about this do as guests partied in their pj's well into the night.

Catherine Barr, Vancouver's celebrity events reporter and photographer, is supported online by CLR Communications Ltd.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

Catch comedian Damonde Tschritter tonight at the Commodore as he and his celebrity co-hosts star in The Glossy Awards. A $15 ticket also lets you party at the after gala.

Hamming it up for the crowd were actor/comedian Peter Kelamis (left), who will soon start work on "Almost Heaven", and comedy fest executive director Will Davis.
Seen at the Quay, girlfriends Traci Myles (left), Jennifer Kovich and Susan Dolnik are even giving Paris Hilton a run for her money.
Quay guests Mike Hanson (left) Mandano Rostamiam and Graham Taylor looked pretty flash in flannel.
