Title: Carol Ships Launch
Location: Foot of Lonsdale in North Vancouver
Description: The Lower Lonsdale Business Association is excited to present North Vancouver’s Festival of Lights Carol Ship Celebration, at the foot of Lonsdale Avenue on Saturday December 6, 2008 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. This event combines the Carol Ship Celebration that has been held at the Waterfront Park in the past with the LLBA’s annual Festival of Lights. Everyone is invited to participate at this free community event!

This outdoor family-friendly celebration kicks off with the official lighting of a giant Christmas tree. Other planned activities and entertainment include Santa’s arrival via the City of North Vancouver fire boat, gingerbread men decorating & balloon creations, award winning children’s entertainers Bobs & Lolo as well as the V.O.C. Soul Gospel Choir.
