Grouse Mountain Christmas

GROUSE Mountain's "Peak of Christmas" is in full swing for the season. On November 30, members of the media got a sneak peak at what lies in store for visitors in the coming weeks. Take the gondola to the top and stroll through Santa's village, visit the reindeers, go for a skate on the pond, or (my favourite) head to the Observatory restaurant and taste their special Christmas menu. You really can't beat the view. The best part is that this winter wonderland lies only minutes from our own front doors. Call 984-0661 for more details.

West Vancouver's Catherine Pope (left) and Vancouver's Jill Krop (right) are two of BCTV's most beautiful blondes. No wonder friend Russell Moldowan was all smiles.

North Van's Holly Poynter is one of the few people who can say she met one of Santa's real reindeers. Vixen and her team are in training for the big night.

An eskimo kiss by the fire is very romantic. Just ask North Van's Lonnie and John Almond.
