Heineken Cup Easter Seals Regatta

The 10th annual Heineken Cup Easter Seals Regatta took to the waters of English Bay last Saturday with a strong contingent from the North Shore. Over 110 sail and power boats competed on the water in various categories raising over $200,000 for this very worthy cause. Top honours went to West Vancouver Yacht Club's Rick Reynolds, skipper of Occams' Razor, for being top fund raiser AND for being first to cross the finish line in his category. The after-party was held on the lawn outside the Vancouver Yacht Club and everyone enjoyed the food, music and prizes. A portion of the funds raised will go to the replacement of deteriorating copper piping and leaks in Easter Seals House Vancouver.
