NS Neighbourhood House

THE North Shore Neighbourhood house is a great facility dedicated to "promoting a sense of community, cooperation, tolerance and mutual understanding." It's a mission statement they stand firmly behind as they welcome teens every friday night for a weekly drop-in session. On Dec. 22, the mood was festive as the gang prepared a traditional holiday meal to celebrate the season. The teen kitchen nights are held every two weeks and are sponsored by VanCity. For more information about their programs, call 987-8138.
