National Portrait Exhibition

IT was an art exhibit like no other. The Canadian Institute of Portrait Artists (CIPA) held a one-of-a-kind National Portrait Exhibition at North Vancouver's City Scape gallery on Sept. 13 and the turnout was impressive. Travelling into town specially for the occasion were artists from all over Canada. Some expected guests were unable to make it due to the tragic events that occured earlier last week, but many wonderful pieces of artwork, valued at over $300,000, were on display for those in attendance to view. It was an elegant evening of class and culture featuring famous faces of all kinds.
