Soroptimist Gala

THE Soroptimist International of North and West Vancouver held its first annual Treasure Chest of Hope and Opportunity last Friday at the new Holiday Inn in North Vancouver. It was a "dressy and elegant" evening which included both a live and silent auction, raffle draw and a special chance to open the treasure chest provided you chose the correct key. Sponsored in part by Rotary International, the funds raised go to aid the North Shore Safe-House for Youth.
