Violence Prevention Party

NOVEMBER is Together Against Violence month all across the North Shore and all kinds of different activities have been taking place. One of those events was the "Turn up the Volume - Turn off the Violence" youth kick-off party on Nov. 14 at the Lonsdale RecCentre. Three local bands, namely SixBlockRadius, Flipswitch and Davy's Locker, took to the floor in the Capilano Room to help promote non-violence. The event was sponsored by Propane Entertainment, the North Vancouver Recreation Commission and the North Shore Together Against Violence Network.
