WV Chamber Christmas




IT's been a big year for the West Vancouver Chamber of Commerce. They've moved house, put some new staff in place and are attracting lots of new members. It all added up to a great reason to celebrate on Thursday, Nov. 29 as members, friends and guests gathered at the Capilano Golf and Country Club for their annual Christmas Party. There were some special prizes this year as guests were invited to buy a key for a chance to win a beautiful pearl necklance from Birks. And just for fun, there were reindeer races, featuring some very familiar faces and some very cool prizes.

Chamber president Barry Lloyd was one of the evening's hosts. He and wife Wendy help with a lot of the events.

Chamber secretary Sandra Ferros was happy to be accompanied by her husband Al.

Park Royal's Cindy Allen won't be an Allen for much longer, she's getting married next May.

Don and Reka Charlton are not only West Vancouver financial experts, they make the perfect couple.

Selling raffle tickets by the arm-length, or in this case by the nose-length, was former WV Coun. Liz Byrd who took advantage of some help from Stuart Clyne (left) and Tom Baillie.

NS News display gal Tara Lalane tried to make off with a whole chocolate cheesecake. We caught her at the door - wink.

Cypress Moutain's Russ Perrott, seen here with the chamber's own Peter Black as Santa, won the Birks pearl necklace with his lucky key.
