Ambleside Antics

COME to the Cabaret, they said. So I went, to get a sneak preview of the St. Christopher's Church Cabaret. The event, which is always a sold-out production, is only held every two years and is great entertainment. Held in conjunction with the North Van Players and the Comedy Company, this year's production is entitled "Ambleside Antics". And even though the production pokes fun at some local issues, you'll enjoy the show whether you're from West Vancouver or not. Rehearsals are underway this week and audience members will be in for a treat when the show runs from Feb. 6-9.

No trick photography here as NV Player newcomer Calin Bilkowski drops into the splits effortlessly. Be sure and cheer for him as "Miss Bellevue" and as "Elvis".

Singing solos in the show are Barb Brolly and Charles McNeight who have great voices.
