Caulfeild Oktoberfest

IT was an event with lots of oom pah pah. On Sunday Sep. 15, West Vancouver's Caulfeild Mall held their 9th Annual Oktoberfest. Beer gardens and bratwurst were only the start as this fabulous family day attracted hundreds of local residents and their friends. Even the weather cooperated which meant the kids got to try out all the different activities. All kinds of authentic touches, including a live Bavarian band, really helped bring out the theme. Just check out the fun below.

Wearing authentic outfits were five-year-old Gena Thomas and her little two-year-old sister Stephenie who came to the fair with their mom Lydia.

Diane Alexander and two-year-old son Cole took a break and tried out some of the food.

Pastameli's Candace Lilley attracted envious stares from hungry passerbys as she sold giant pretzels in the beer gardens.
