Danny Possee

NORTHLANDS golf course, in North Vancouver, was the place to be on May 11 as the first annual Danny Possee Memorial Golf Tournament took place under perfect conditions. Friends and family members came out to raise funds and honour the memory of a young man whose untimely, and unfortunate death, took place ten years ago this month. In conjunction with North Shore Rescue, the day of golf was followed by a great buffet dinner, fun and prizes.

A touching tribute to Danny. Dad Derek Possee was proud to see that the spirit of his son lives on through those friends and family members that knew him so well.

Mom Sally Possee and brother James were thrilled with the turnout as friends gathered in the clubhouse.

Big Art Ahern and little Marcia Perusquia made quite a pair. Marcia is a student studying here in Canada.

We're not sure how many times Jason Black (left) and Jesse Godin went to the buffet, but I hear the food was great.

"The golf was great," said Andrew Caldwell as he shared a table with pretty Samantha Shaw.
