Ducks Unlimited

PEOPLE think that Ducks Unlimited is all about, well, ducks. However the facts are that Ducks Unlimited Canada is about much, much more. Preserving wetlands, and our drinking water, is all part of the plan which includes land management and ecological studies. Run by over 7,000 volunteers, the organization carefully watches over that which most of us take for granted. On Saturday March 16, at West Vancouver's Hollyburn Country Club, the North Shore Committee held their 11th Annual Banquet and Auction as supporters of this good cause attended a fabulous fund raising dinner and auction. Good food and good fun made this evening a complete success.

	Henry and Liz Ellis (from left) sat with Elsie Saunders, wife of Don Saunders, who could not attend this night, but is one of the major contributors to the organization.
