Easter Seals Regatta

THE 12th Annual Scotiabank Easter Seals Regatta was held on Saturday Aug. 24th at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club as sailors from all across the North Shore competed in eight separate divisions. Sun filled skies and good winds made for some great racing as over 100 sailboats and their crews helped raise close to $200,000 for the Easter Seal Society. A special Teddy Bear Boat Parade in False Creek was also held after the racing began much to the delight of kids big and small. Congratulations to all those involved.
