Edgemont Merchants

NORTH Vancouver's Edgemont Village, in my opinion, is one of the coziest community areas around. The main street is filled with great little shops and restaurants and a friendly face is not hard to find. Last Wednesday, the Edgemont merchants held their second annual social night at Kilby's restaurant. Community service awards were handed out and everyone got a chance to socialize, relax and share ideas. Lots of good food, wine and entertainment helped round out the night.

Robin Delany (left) and Michael Kilby deserve a round of applause for helping put together a fun night. Robin, of Delany's coffee fame, acted as MC while Michael was happy to host everyone at his Kilby's restaurant.

Entertainer Richard Stepp performed at the keyboards much to everyone's delight. He even played a song or two for singer Susan Anderson, who just finished starring in a New Westminster production of "Gypsy".
