THE Fund for the Arts on the North Shore (FANS) is a society supporting the development of artists and the arts on the North Shore. Run by the Arts and Culture Commission of North Vancouver, the society held their annual FANS Night Gala on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the North Van Districti municipal hall. It was a hot dog and martini reception followed by lots of entertainment, a silent auction and, of course, the awards themselves. Performances by the North Shore Celtic Ensemble, Sax a la Mode and the Exaudi Choir were all part of a great night where everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly.
