FANS Martinis and Hot Dogs

FANS (the Fund for the Arts on the North Shore), is now in its 8th year and that calls for a party. The society honours local artists, musicians and actors for their work in and beyond the community, recognizing them as contributors and thanking them for their inspiration. On Thursday, June 27, guests gathered at North Vancouver's CityScape Community Art Space for "Happy Hour", an evening of hot dogs and martinis. Lots of local dignitaries and artists mixed and mingled in what FANS society members described as a "thank you" to the commuity for all their support over the years. The drinks were cold and the food was hot and no one went home hungry.
