LGH Night of Jazz

THE smooth and sexy appeal of jazz music was the theme behind the Lions Gate Hospital's latest fund raising event. An Evening of Jazz was held on Thursday March 14 at the elegant Capilano Golf and Country Club where over 150 guests were putting on the ritz for this very worthwhile cause. Both live and silent auction items gave everyone a chance to bid on something special, and singer Tammy Weiss wooed the crowd onto the dance floor to end a perfect evening. Close to $35,000 was raised which will now go towards the purchase of a new ECG machine.
