NSWC Ringette






OVER 300 participants took part last week in the North Shore Winter Club's 17th Annual Ringette Tournament. Ringette, like hockey, is played on skates and is every bit as rough and tumble as you'd expect. Consisting mostly of female athletes, teams from all over British Columbia made the trip to North Vancouver to fight it out on the ice. The teams, with players aged seven to 15, competed within their respective divisions remembering that it's the fun and sportsmanship of the game that counts the most. There were also prizes and raffle draws. What a great way to make new friends.

He's the main man in charge of the tournament. Lance Kellough was the tournament chairman and coordinator who also coaches the "B" division.
