NVC Volunteers

HAVE you ever wanted to have your say about city parking? How about putting in your two cents when it comes to parks? Well other than council members, these people are the people you want to know. North Vancouver City volunteers are regular people who help out government by sitting on advisory boards and committees. Their input is invaluable and their time is greatly appreciated. On Oct 1, at the Squamish Nation Rec Centre, the city held a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner to honour those who work so tirelessly and to thank them for all they do.

Just peddalling around? Jim Cave and Elise Van Riet both sit on the Joint Bicycle Commmittee.

City manager Ken Tollstam (left) has to hang around with these two all the time. Fortunately, Councillors Darrell Mussatto and Craig Keating are pretty nice guys.
