Rituals

IT was a celebration of life that guests came to enjoy on Tuesday Sept. 24 at Joe's Louisiana Grill as North Van's Rituals concept spa put on a different kind of fund raiser. One World, Many Rituals helped raise awareness and money for the David Suzuki Foundation. Coupled with the opening of the Rituals/Aveda spa next door, guests were treated to a night of entertainment and food, each prepared in harmony to coincide with the different episodes of the evening. Indigenous influences, african drummers, yoga and environmental messages were all part of the night which was both enlightening and enjoyable.

Helping with the makeup and taking tickets at the door were Greg Horton and Tami Vendsel.

Organizers and spa owners Jenny and Troy MacMillan did a great job planning all the different rituals.
