Rotary Wine Gala

AS you entered through the main door of Capilano Mall on Saturday Oct. 19, friendly hosts greeted you beneath a magnificent red and white wine balloon archway. You had to listen carefully for the music admist the hum of the crowd as a cast of thousands congregated for one fabulous evening of food and wine. The North Shore Rotary Gala Wine Festival was a HUGE success (a bigger crowd, I have not seen). All four Rotary Clubs on the North Shore took part raising money for local charities. Featuring local restaurants and wineries, guests got to sample their fill. Volunteers helped make it all happen.
