WV Skatefest

GLIDING with grace across the ice, West Vancouver ice skaters tied up their skates last Sunday for Skatefest. The annual event marks the end of lessons at the West Vancouver arena and gives friends and family a chance to be entertained. The skating program participants put on a show and demonstration which thrilled the audience. All ages took part as the audience applauded and cheered for their favourites. A big thanks to the volunteers who helped put the event together. It was the biggest skating event to date and next year maybe there'll be a show at Christmas and spring. Afterwards, everyone took to the ice for a public skate for all who wished to participate.
