EVERY month, the West Vancouver Women's Networking group meets to share ideas about business and strategy and more. It's the right kind of atmosphere for making friends, having fun and gaining leads and insight to all kinds of different opportunities. Last Wednesday, the gals got together to do something special by holding a special Halloween silent auction fund raising night for UNICEF. Carved pumpkings and special donations decorated the meeting room at Hollyburn Country club as the ladies helped bring in over $1,000 for this very good cause.

	Sherri Sarvian, of Bellissima Day Spa (left), and Mary Lou Williams, who works for a junior mining company, are both members of the club.
	Sitting on the executive are members Carol Halle (left) co-chair Diane Thomas and program coordinator Susan Ping.
	Holding up some spooky jack-o-lanterns were co-chair Karen Bailey (left) and assistant treasurer Donna Mihn.
	Mary Wilson (left) is in the spa business as well as personal training while Julia Baker is a goldsmith.
	Calling themselves the "Telus" girls were Elisa Kitson (centre) and sisters Mary (left) and Carol Martin.
	Special featured speaker this night was Maggie Miranda who paints storybook figures on beautiful children's wooden trunks.
	"Trail Trekkers" Dagny Swanson (left), Crista Vannierop and Sylvia Korteling prefer being outside.
	Member Mary Bailey (centre) was happy to see guests Kristie Hiltz (left) and Dolena Thompson in attendance.
	Lynn Valley dietician Irene Zilinski (left) and financial agent Florence Rioux took one last look at the auction items before closing.
