JASON GODDING ARTS

Feb 10, 2003

By Catherine Barr

A special memorial art show of late North Van artist Jason Godding was cause for celebration last Monday night at DV8 restaurant. Godding, 33, died in his sleep only last year, but thanks to his friends and family, his memory lives on forever.

They're mother and daughter and artists themselves. Susan Newmann (left) and daughter Kiersten are family members who came out to DV8 to remember Jason.

It's easy to see why this piece is called "Fetish". Jason's cousin Jaclyn Newmann and Wes McKim came out to see the art at DV8.
