Hollyburn Mother/Daughter Fashion Show

January 29, 2003

By Catherine Barr

IT was a real girl's night out on Wednesday, Jan. 29 as Hollyburn Country Club held its mother/daughter fashion show. All ages participated in this great event which saw the ladies enjoy a fabulous dinner followed by an evening of fashion and fun. Dressing up was the name of the game here - just ask Hollyburn tennis pro Rufus Nel who clearly got the biggest round of applause for his cross-dressing escapade. Just take a look for yourself.

Wearing an afro wig and tennis balls down his top, tennis pro Rufus Nel put a new spin on his duties as MC. Call me crazy, but I don't think this helped sell many women's tennis fashions.

Elegant Sharlene Ludwig and seven-year-old daughter Natalie had good seats for the show.
