Queen's Jubilee Medal

February 21, 2003

By Catherine Barr

In celebration of Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee Year, a selection of local heros were singled out and honoured for their charity and volunteer work in the community. A special dinner was held at West Van's Park Royal Hotel on Feb. 21 where MLA Ralph Sultan played host to a most distinguised and accomplished table of guests. One-by-one they were congratulated for their efforts in a celebration that comes but once in a lifetime.
