Vancouver International Film Festival Opening Gala

Sep 25, 2003

By Catherine Barr

It's back and it's bigger than ever. The 22nd Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) kicked off last Thursday with an opening night screening at the Vogue and gala party at Wall Centre. Lots of local celebs who hail from the North Shore were there in their finery as they mixed and mingled, rubbing elbows with some of the world's most talented and creative people around. See who you recognize. The VIFF continues until Oct. 10 with over 300 films.

If you wish to receive a copy or a print of any of the photographs included on this page or any other page, please include all the event information, date, title, names of people in picture and picture number (e.g. PICT001.jpg) in an email to info@catherinebarr.com

Thanks to wife Mirta's movie star looks, NVD Mayor Don Bell was easily mistaken for a big-time film producer.
