West Van Secondary School Mannequin Parade

Apr 22, 2004

By Catherine Barr

Talented West Vancouver Secondary School textile students took months to create the fashions for their spring "Mannequin Parade" event. Held last Thursday night at the school,  the students strutted their stuff on the catwalk before an audience of parents, classmates and friends. Check out the names and faces today, then watch for them again on a designer label in the not-to-distant future.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

Looking glamorous in the formal grad dress she made, Caitlin Milligan was thrilled to get a lift from Matthew Jacquet (left), Shaun Pifie, Jan Madsen and Jim Ashley.
Wearing a hot pink, ultra-trendy top and skirt set by student Negar Demehri, was model Monica Rush.
Kaitlyn Monteith (left), Kristen Nelson and Serena Lee modelled outfits from Erin Samuda's "Culture Crash" collection.
Helping out backstage were Myrna Cotter and textiles teacher Connie O'Connor.
Sophena Kwon (left), created the "Liquid" collection by hand dyeing all the dresses worn by herself and models Sunny Erfan, Ami Nagatani and Sara Mooi.
