West Vancouver Police Car Wash for Kids

Aug 8, 2004

By Catherine Barr

Washing close to 500 cars isn't easy as West Van's finest will tell you, but it's all worth it in the end. A beautiful sunny Sunday made attracting customers even easier as the West Van police department's annual car wash fundraiser took place this past weekend. The men, and women, in blue were out in force at West Van's White Spot restaurant parking lot to raise money for ____________. Congratulations everyone on a job well done.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

Giving a helping hand with the soap and suds were Chad Cousins (left) and rookie officer Brock Harrington.
Getting by with a little help from her White Spot friends Brock Garrett (left) and Hunter Graham was officer Sheri Lucas.
Looking good enough to be on the cover of GQ, officers Mark Braithwaite and Todd Mosher had the ladies lining up.
Sheila Domoslai drove away with more than a clean car this day as her wash included a fresh take-home blueberry pie.
Staff sgt. Jim Almas had a very special helper in Tayia Hawco who helped him collect all the donations for charity.
