Amica West Vancouver Grand Opening

Sep 13, 2005

By Catherine Barr

West Vancouver's newly built Amica rental residences have all the luxury you could want. Designed as a seniors housing alternative, the centre shows like a five-star hotel complete with rec centre, pub lounge, concierge and more. Their grand opening celebrations and ribbon cutting event took place last week.

Catherine Barr, Vancouver's celebrity events reporter and photographer, is supported online by CLR Communications Ltd.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

Mayor Ron Wood (left) posed for pics in the grand lobby with community relations gal Debbie Birrell, marketing VP Susan Gerard and COO Colin Halliwell.
Amica owner and CEO Samir Manji (left) and Crestview Developments' Bob Landucci sat with current resident Joan McLeod who later spoke at the ceremony.
Suzanne Sawer, community relations manager for Arbutus Manor, joined Sue Archibald, community relations manager for the western region, during the reception.
