West Vancouver Pauline Johnson School Masquerade Gala

Feb 26, 2005

By Catherine Barr

West Vancouver parents and friends were dressed to the nines on Saturday for the Pauline Johnson "Magical Masquerade" gala fundraiser. Held at the Bayshore, the affair included a black-tie dinner and silent auction complete with dozens of hand decorated mardi-gras style masks. Money raised will help support the students' trip to Quebec.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

A big smiley hello to son Christopher from parents Sarina and Mark Ruus who enjoyed their formal night out.
Cinderella had nothing on Dr. Lou Metzner and wife Annalise whose beautiful Manolo Blahnik shoes helped make this a true fairy tale evening.
Looking over the auction items up for grabs were co-chair Debra Rovinelli (left), mask maker Maya Mani, Mary-Ann Booth and Beth de Beer.
Co-chair Marilyn Martin and Dan Schwartz posed beside one of the more spectacular masks on display.
